Per Play Points are gone
Due to abuse issues and cheating (refreshing game pages), we have disallowed earning points per play. This means you will no longer get the 25 points per play.

However, to counter this and still keep the Kredit system in tact, we have changed the values on other things such as beating your personal best score or beating the monthly score for the game. This is in beta testing for now and will be adjusted upwards accordingly. We will also be offering more tournaments to offset this as well.

The Prize Closet
As many of you know, this is still a growing site. We do not have the traffic and advertiser revenue that many larger sites have. We add prizes to the prize closet as we receive money or prizes from advertisers. Tell people about the site and as our ad revenue grows so will our prize availability.

Also, by referring people to the site (use your custom referral link in your profile), you will gain extra Kredits. You earn 5,000 Kredits for every new member you refer so make sure you tell your friends who like playing games. They will love you for telling about the site and you will earn kredits when they join - remember though, you have to use your custom referral link to get credit - and Kredits!

The shop is online and ready to go. We have got most of the bugs worked out to help prevent people from cheating and feel fairly comfortable about putting the shop up. We will, however, be monitoring the site very closely for the coming weeks and still have some scheduled downtime for some other upgrades.

We will try to keep downtime to a minimum , but some of the upgrades we have coming up may require the site to be offline for as much as 2 hours at a time.

Several users have requested information on the shop and how they can redeem their points for prizes. Let me first start off by saying that the point shop is already live - we are currently fixing some bugs that allow players to have a competitive edge (ie - cheating) in earning points.

As a long time game player myself (ever since the Atari 2600), I understand the need to attempt to cheat games for high scores, but some of these bugs allow for people to run scripts against the server to rack up Kredits while they are sleeping. This is a design flaw in our original programming and we are attempting to make the changes ot the code that will safeguard against future attempts at beating the system.

There are a few other items that need to be changed in the original code and our programmers are working on that now. We should have the site correctly functioning and ready for the shop by March 1st, 2008.
